Dairy-Free Buttercream Frosting
This creamy, fluffy, dairy- free frosting will make any baked good taste delicious! This recipe is super simple and great for cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and much more.
Dairy Free Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup dairy-free butter at room temperature
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons dairy-free milk substitute (soy, almond, rice)
Procedure
- Combine powdered sugar and butter on low speed using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment. Once combined, increase the speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.
- Add salt, vanilla, and milk and continue beating on medium for 1 minute. Feel free to add more/less milk if need.
Tip: If you have leftover frosting, save it! Use an air-tight container to store in the fridge for a week or the the freezer for up to 3 months.
